This engagement guide focuses on companies that convert plastics into packaging – products that are used to contain, protect, handle, deliver, store, transport and present goods. Plastics are widely used because – depending on the application – they are durable, can keep products free from contamination, are lighter than other comparable materials, and can be moulded into safety mechanisms (e.g. child-proof and tamper-resistant locks on packaging).
